BART Board Coming to Walnut Creek for Financial Workshop
Directors pick the Renaissance Club Sport Hotel for a special two-day meeting
Bay Area Rapid Transit District directors and staff will venture out of their usual meeting spot, at BART headquarters in Oakland's Kaiser Center, and into Walnut Creek for a special two-day meeting and workshop.
The board will meet Friday, Nov. 4, at noon and Saturday, Nov. 5, at 8 a.m. in the Club Room, , 2805 Jones Rd., Walnut Creek.
Much of the board's time will be devoted to a workshop, with a report on BART's future financial stability looming large. Workshop sessions are open to the public, but the directors will also meet in closed session for a conference with labor negotiators.
