Heather Farm Pools in the Swim Again
City replaces heaters at aging Clarke Swim Center.
After being closed for almost two months, the three pools at Heather Farm Park have reopened.
City officials reopened the Clarke Swim Center facilities on Monday after replacing the heaters at the 40-year-old complex.
The pools were closed Oct. 27 after the heaters broke down for the second time in the past decade. At first, city officials were going to repair the equipment, but eventually they came to the conclusion that new heaters were needed.

The pool is open 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. most weekdays, rain or shine.
