Night Lane Closures on Ygnacio Valley Road

Watch for pavement sample work from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next three nights.

Watch out for nighttime lane closures along most of Ygnacio Valley Road Tuesday through Friday.

The Walnut Creek police issued an advisory warning the public of two lanes closed in each direction from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on those nights. The work will be on Ygnacio Valley Road between Oakland Boulevard and Oak Grove Road.

Workers will be taking samples of the pavement to assess its condition in various places, said Don Murphy, construction coordinator for the city of Walnut Creek's Engineering Department.

I hate sand in parks. Nice breeding area for lice, and a great place for ferrel cats to poop. IRead More can't wait for them to do the park at Arbolado.
