PG&E Suspends Plans to Cut Down Trees in Walnut Creek

The Lorax was heard!

PG&E will not move forward on a plan to cut down trees over its gas pipeline until company officials are able to meet with Walnut Creek leaders and explore alternatives, said Mayor Kristina Lawson.

In addition, the City will be working with PG&E to hold a community meeting on that matter at a date in the future, according to the city's web site.
