Walnut Creek City Council Field is Set
City Clerk Suzie Martinez says nomination papers verified for five running for three open seats on the council Nov. 6.
The field is set for the Walnut Creek City Council race Nov. 6.
With Wednesday's filing deadline for three open seats on the council, City Clerk Suzie Martinez said five candidates had filed nomination papers and had them verified by the county Elections Division:
- Barry Grove;
- Loella Haskew;
- incumbent Kish Rajan, the mayor pro tem;
- incumbent Bob Simmons, the mayor;
- Justin Wedel.
announced last week he would not seek re-election.
