Community Voices: Life in the Monument Corridor

What: A panel discussion: Learn about the challenges, accomplishments and life experiences of families who live in the Monument Corridor. The panel will talk about a range of issues from education and health care to immigration law and poverty. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics of community and a better awareness of the daily realities of children and families.

Who: The panel includes Contra Costa County Supervisor Susan Bonilla; Executive Director of the Monument Crisis Center Sandra Scherer, Julie Mason of the Monument Community Partnership, Concepcion James of Contra Costa Health Services and Kevin Edwards of Ygnacio Valley High School.

When: Tuesday, September 28, from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Where: Soda Activity Center, Saint Mary's College of California. 1928 St. Mary's Rd., Moraga
