Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Care Directives
Taking Care of Mom, Dad, and Ourselves: This estate planning workshop focuses on what every elder needs to protect themselves and their loved ones in case of incapacity.
Participants will have the opportunity to have their questions answered and, if appropriate, to set appointments to have simple incapacity documents prepared for them by the Elder Law Center, a community Service of The Law Center.
If more advanced work is necessary, the Contra Costa County Bar Association will refer the participant to a qualified local attorney. Required follow-up session takes place on Thursday, Jan. 26, 5:30 – 7:30 pm.
