Mt. Diablo School District Meets Monday with City of Martinez

The special session begins at 6:30 p.m.

The Mt. Diablo Unified School District is meeting Monday evening with Martinez City Council to discuss mutual interests and partnerships, according to Martinez officials.

The meeting, being called an "information exchange," begins at 6:30 p.m., until 8 p.m., in the multi-purpose room at Hidden Valley Elementary School, 500 Glacier Drive in Martinez.

Superintendent Dr. Nellie Meyer will present the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP).

Discussion items may include: district enrollment; student achievement; school traffic safety; Common Core State Standards; MDEA Second Annual Academy Awards; planned improvements.
