High School Football Recap

Here is a recap of the local high school football scores.

Las Lomas 10  Dublin 9

In a game decided in the final minute, Las Lomas High squeaked by Dublin High, 10-9.

Dublin led 3-0 at the half. Las Lomas came back to take a 10-3 led late in the fourth quarter. However, Dublin scored with 30 seconds left in the game, but the Knights blocked the extra point to preserve the win.

Las Lomas is now 6-1 overall and 2-1 in league play.

The Gaels are 4-3 overall and 1-2 in league play.

College Park 30  Northgate 0

Northgate High was shut out at home, losing to College Park High, 30-0.

The Falcons led 9-0 at the half. They scored on their first possession of the third quarter and glided to victory.

The Broncos are now 2-5 overall and 1-1 in league play.

College Park is 3-4 overall and 2-0 in league play.

Concord 42  Clayton Valley 0

Clayton Valley High lost its second straight game, getting blasted by Concord High, 42-0.

After a promising start in non-league games, the Eagles are now 4-3 overall and 0-2 in league play.

Concord led 14-0 at half and cruised to victory. The Minutemen are now 5-2 overall and 2-0 in league play.

Berean Christian 35  Valley Christian 14

Berean Christian High stunned previously undefeated Valley Christian High, 35-14.

Berean Christian led 21-7 at half and sailed to victory.

The Eagles are now 5-2 overall while Valley Christian is 6-1.
