Las Lomas Loses Close Match In Girls Volleyball Semifinals
The Knights lose to the top seed in the North Coast Section tournament
Las Lomas High lost in a tough semifinal match Wednesday evening in the North Coast Section Division II girls volleyball playoffs.
The fourth seeded Knights were defeated by top ranked Redwood High in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 31-29 and 26-24.
Las Lomas reached the semifinals by downing fifth seeded Newark Memorial High in the quarterfinals Saturday night.
The Knights finish their season with a 26-14 record.
