Northgate, Las Lomas Compete This Weekend In Football Playoffs
Broncos, Knights will try to advance to the second round of the North Coast Section tournament
Northgate High will be at home and Las Lomas High will be on the road as they compete this weekend in the first round in the North Coast Section football playoffs
Northgate is ranked sixth in Division II. They'll play their first round game at their stadium against 11th seeded College Park High at 7 p.m. Friday.
The Broncos finished the regular season with an 8-2 record while College Park was 6-3-1.
Las Lomas is ranked seventh in Division II. The Knights will travel to Fremont to battle 10th seeded Washington High at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Las Lomas ended the regular season with a 6-4 record while Washington was also 6-4.
