Hot days bring out the lap swimmers, the team swimmers and the casual swimmers.
With a heat wave washing over Walnut Creek, it was a busy day of lap swimming at Clarke Memorial Swim Center at Heather Farm Park.
In Walnut Creek the mercury was 88 early Thursday afternoon and seemingly headed for 95. Weather Bug's forecast highs were 83 degrees for Friday and 79 for Saturday.
