Burrito Place Closes In Eastern Walnut Creek
Jalisco Gourmet Burritos has shut its doors in the Citrus Shopping Center
A burrito restaurant in the Citrus Shopping Center in eastern Walnut Creek has closed its doors.
Jalisco Gourmet Burritos at 2228 Oak Grove Road is empty and its door is locked. There is no sign on the doors or windows announcing the closure.
A reviewer on the restaurant's Yelp site said the business had lost its lease, but that report isn't confirmed. There was no answer at the restaurant's phone number.
The space next to Jalisco remains vacant. It was the home of an It's A Grind coffee shop that closed in 2009.
The closed burrito place is also in the same shopping center where a Carl's Jr. closed in January. A Denica's restaurant opened last month in its place.
